A meditation on walking in the Orma Therapy Nature Park
There is something quietly powerful about entering a place like Orma Therapy. A nature park that does not just offer paths, but invites you to slow down, to breathe, to feel. Here, every step has a different weight. Every step is a presence. Walking here becomes a true therapeutic experience in nature.
In a time of rushing and distractions, walking in nature becomes an act of resistance. It is a way to reconnect, to listen to what we often ignore: the sounds of the forest, the rhythm of our breathing, the beat of our thoughts. It is in this space of silence that we begin to see what went unnoticed before. And it is there, on the soft ground, that the first footprints appear.
Footsteps that have gone before us
When walking along the paths of Orma Therapy there is a subtle but intense feeling: we are not the first to pass this way. Light traces in the ground, rustled branches, small signs of the passage of other living beings. Some human, others not. . It is a natural reminder: we are part of something bigger, we share this space with invisible but present creatures.
> Every footprint is a story, every step a sign of trust in what is to come.
The footprints we leave
And then there are ours. Those we leave behind us, often without realising it. They are physical footprints, of course, but also symbolic: how do we move in the world? With respect or distraction? With presence or automatism?
Orma Therapy prompts us to ask these questions without the need for words. It is nature itself that whispers these questions, as you walk under trees that seem to listen and rocks that tell.
Walking here becomes almost a ritual: every step is a choice — a choice of attention, care, and listening.
The footsteps we want to follow
There are moments, along the paths, when one asks oneself: which direction do I want to take? Not only on the ground, but in life. The bifurcations of the paths resemble those of existence. Some lead towards the light, others require the courage to walk through the shadows.
Walking in nature, you realize you don’t always need to know where you’re going. Sometimes, you just have to choose one step after another. Trust the path.
Perhaps that is the true therapy.

An invitation to return
Orma Therapy is not a place to visit just once. It is a space that transforms along with those who pass through it. Every season, every time of day, every mood gives the trails a new face.
And each time you return, the footprints of the past do not disappear: they join the new ones, building a personal geography of the path. A map made not of cardinal points, but of lived experiences, rediscovered breaths, thoughts released among the trees.
At a time when we are used to running, Orma Therapy invites us to slow down. To walk for the pleasure of walking. To stop not because we’re tired, but because we’re alive.
The footsteps we leave behind speak of us. And those we decide to follow tell us where we want to go.
My reflection is a small seed.
If it has stirred something in you, and you feel like sharing it, feel free to write about it in the comments ... I will be happy to read your thoughts.
